Remember the witch sitcom from the 80's? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I need help to find out what this sitcom was called. It was in the eighties and was about a witch or magical nanny who took care of this guys kids. she had long blonde crimped hair and i last saw her recently in a tv comercial for a cleaning product that cleans "twice as fast" with twins i think it was mr clean. anyway this was one of my favorite shows as a kid and it has been driving me nuts for about two years..HELP!!!

Well, Nanny and the Professor was a show from 1970 that otherwise matches your criteria. Perhaps you saw it in reruns?

Also, Free Spirit is another possibility from 1989. Could that be it? Click here for an episode guide.

The actress you are talking about is the very lovely Corinne Bohrer. I've seen her in a lot of commercials. She has many movie and TV credits as well.
