Default Small screen on the small screen

Ugh.

I like the new show. I want to like it more. But I can't get past the dang small screen. WHY? Why use the small screen? I know they are going for a retro look, but I can't buy into it. Hopefully that will change in time.

Please vote on your thoughts about the new small screen. I'm curious what the rest of you think.

its probably because the aspect ratio was switched to 16:9 and not 4:3 don't have a widescreen tv but maybe they seen it full screen and possibly because the hdtv format!!! but when editing it can be full screen, i'm just saying!!!

Ideally, since this show is all supposed to take the widescreen aspect....dennis farina parts will be normal on a widescreen tv. As for the segments on a widescreen tv, they should only have black bars on the sides of the screen, while we people with "fullscreen" tv's, there will be black bars on the sides and tops and bottoms of the screen, making the image even smaller. I am actually shocked they didn't just stretch the segments to make them widescreen, I give them credit for not doing that.

Doesn't matter what I tihnk, they didnt ask me for my vote, and all the show is produced anyway, so they aren't gonna change it.

I love how they lie and say, We are bringing it bakc because of you ,bull****. If they cared so much about us they wouldn't change it so it's almost completely unrecognizable.

The small screen actually isn't what annoys me the most - it's all the graphics/bells/whistles/doo-hickeys that they put on there to snazz up everything. A few are ok, but I think they are going overboard.
