Default Tony Romo out for 4 weeks with broken pinky

It was just reported on ESPN. It looks like it's going to be Brad Johnson for the next month.

ClintEastwoodFan,

this is not the end of the world.

1. Unlike the Brady injury, this is not a season-ender.

2. Dallas has had a history of rallying around injured QB's- Steve Buerelein in 1991, Bernie Kosar in 1992, Rodney Peete and Jason Garrett in 1994.

Thanks.

Although Romo makes too many turnovers he does have the opportunity to bring the team back. I'm not sure Brad Johnson can do that. On the other hand maybe with Johnson as QB, some of the other players can get involved in the game instead of just trying to force it into T.O. all the time. One thing is for sure. Something is wrong with this team and I think its leadership. Maybe a month away will give Tony time to think about how to protect the ball.

I just feel more comfortable with a QB in there who won't turnover the ball. Remember Brad lead the Bucs to the Promise Land-lol

I think the Head Coach has alot to do with Dallas's problems. I just don't think he's a very good coach. With the talent they have, they'll make the playoffs every year, but winning the Super Bowl, I don't see it. But i'm just a fan, so what do i know, right?

I hope Dallas has a little better luck with Brad Johnson than Minnesota did. He threw 9 tds and 15 ints when he started for them in '06.

I've always thought Wade Phillips was an awful head coach. When he chose Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie up in Buffalo, that told me everything I needed to know. I preferred him over Norv Turner but that's not saying much. Jerry still thinks anybody can coach his team and that's never been the case.

I hope so too. I'm not entirely sold on him. He used to be a good QB but who knows how much he has left in the tank.

Yeah I think he is 39 like Brett Favre. See is is why I was wondering why Dallas didn't go after Brian Griese in the offseason

It looks like Felix Jones might be out for 2 weeks and our Punter Mat McBriar could be out 6-8 weeks too.
