Only for dessert at a mexican restaurant, but I think that's the only place they serve it.

I have actually made it before twice in fact. It doesn't melt because what you do is you take your ice cream and you make them into balls and then you freeze them for an hour then you make the coding and dip the balls into it and freeze them for 3 hours till firm. Then you fry your ice cream for 15 seconds or till coding turns golden brown and then you return them to the freezer while you fry remaining ice cream balls
The reason they don't melt is because there really frozen and you only fry them for like 15 seconds. There really not that hard to make just time consuming |
