The NBA season is drawing closer.

Yep, Sixers fan...I thought it was hilarious when Boston was going nuts tonight over a slam dunk, when the Sixers won anyway..

Edit: If you're going to make this into a NBA 08 season thread, change the title..

Really looking forward to the upcoming season. Hopefully I can get NBA League Pass again this year, nothing like NBA basketball all night, night in and night out.

I don't start getting into the NBA until like mid-december. I think ESPN is showing way too many higlights of NBA games when it's only October 9th and we have the NFL and Baseball postseason going on

Yeah, I told you I am an all Philly sports fan, we're like the opposite lol! I like how football is on, basketball is starting and being broadcasted now, hockey starts this week and baseball will still be on for another 2/3 weeks. It's awesome.

True, I think it's good. It's the only time of the year you can watch all 4 sports, any on the same day, or different sports each day and be cool with it. It's so nice out too, you can tape or tivo games and just chill. I love it.

I like the NBA, but I really loved it in the 80s and 90s. Nowadays, I don't get into it until the season winds down. I use to be a Blazers fan. I kind of like the Kings and Rockets.

I know, I don't think anybody cares about pre-season games.
