Default Shannen Doherty Hints About An Affair with Jason Priestley

http://www.radaronline.com/from-the-...r_issue_01.php

When asked about Jason Priestly, who played her on-screen twin Brandon, Shannen said, "We had a very, very nice flirtation. [But further details are] nobody's business. First off, it's unladylike; second, it goes against everything I believe in."

Shannon Doherty thinks that talking about whether or not she dated someone is "unladylike"?
I like her and all, but geez!

Shannen, let's be honest. Who haven't you dated?

TV

On The Partridge Family, David Cassidy and Susan Dey (who also played
brother and sister) were secretly involved in a relationship. It was hushed up
for obvious reasons.

Didn't Barry Williams and Maureen McCormick from The Brady Bunch have somethng going on too?

I know all these people are actors and they only pretending to be related for a TV show, but it's still a little creepy isn't it?

I actually knew this already. She always talks about how she had a crush on him whenever she is asked about him in interviews. So it's only natural that they would have hooked up, being around each other all the time and such.

Melissa Gilbert wrote in her autobiography (Prairie Tale) that Shannen bragged that she had an affair with Melissa's first husband Bo Brinkman. Keep in mind that Shannen played Melissa's niece by marriage in LHOP. Needless to say, the two aren't on good terms to this day, even though Melissa will celebrate 15 years of marriage with Bruce Boxleitner on New Year's Day.

Not really. They're actors in real life with no relation to each other. They're young and they pretty much spend most of their time together. Combine that with teenage hormones and, well...

It makes all the sense in the world when you learn to dissociate the actors from their roles.

I agree with you, Dr. Thong. I see nothing at all wrong with it. Afterall, it's just fiction and pretend. The actors are not related to each other.

I think part of the problem is that we associate actors with their parts. I'm guilty of that as well. We know they're playing roles, but because the characters they play are so real to us (if they're good actors, that is), we see them as those characters.

It's sort of like high school. Some cute guys and girls are in a situation where they see each other everyday and sparks fly. That's life.

I mean, Barry and her were the same age roughly when they worked together.

I was only 8 when I had my crush on Maureen. If I had been a few years older...forget about it!!
