Default Brian Westbrook plans to play next week against the 49ers with "Broken Ribs"

Damm, I was shocked to hear that espeically since the Eagles have a bye the week after which means extra rest. But I guess he feels the season is slipping away and wants to do what he can.

He should sit. They are playing the not-so-great 49ers and then have a bye week.

I think it's because he knows they can't afford to lose another game before Halloween-lol

Even with broken ribs, Brian Westbrook is the Eagles most dangerous weapon.

I don't think Westbrook will have 150-200 yards so it won't be hard for the defensive coach to shut 'em down lol. It comes down to other guys getting it done.

I don't think Westbrook will have a 150 yds either because I found out tonight he is not playing this weekend. Also Reggie Brown is out this weekend.

Westbrook is OUT sunday, i'm waiting for whoever else to notice this besides me lol. Westbrook, Reggie Brown & Andrews, unfortunately, all out vs. the Niners.

"i'm willing to sacrifice a Phillies Appearance in the World Series in exchange for the Eagles being 2-5 or 3-4 at the end of the October."

That's a risky proposition Sol, the Eagles will still beat the 49ers despite Westbrook being out.

Only because I feel that the Red Sox or Rays will beat the Phillies. I damm sure wouldn't sacrifice that if I didn't feel both were not BETTER TEAMS-lol

Also Brian, the Phillies were 4-11 this season against the AL teams this year. And out of those 11 losses, 6 were losses to teams who were not in the playoffs this year like Toronto, Oakland, and Texas

LOL
