Best Star Trek Cast?
Which series do you think had the strongest cast?
I think all five shows had wonderful ensembles, but the 'Next Generation' cast was the overall best: Patrick Stewart as Capt. Jean-Luc Picard Jonathan Frakes as Cmdr. William Riker Brent Spiner as Lt. Cmdr. Data Michael Dorn as Lt. Worf LeVar Burton as Lt./Lt. Cmdr. Geordie LaForge Gates McFadden as Dr. Beverly Crusher Marina Sirtis as Lt. Cmdr./Cmdr. Deanna Troi, Ship's Counselor Wil Wheaton as Wesley Crusher (Seasons 1-4) Denise Crosby as Tasha Yar (Season 1) Diana Muldaur as Dr. Katherine Pulaski (Season 2) |

Deep Space Nine had the ultimate cast of characters, not just for Star Trek but for television period. I just love that cast. TOS and TNG casts were great too.

The TNG cast is my favorite. They had great chemistry together and felt like a family. TOS is a close second.

I voted for The Next Generation. And don't forget besides the cast members listed above there was also Whoopi Goldberg as Guinan and Michelle Forbes as Ro Laren.
