Former Australian Idol Dies After Fall from Hotel Balcony

Mon, 06 Oct 2008 6:13a.m. Former Australian Idol star Levi Kereama has died after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Brisbane. His death, which is not being treated as suspicious, came just hours after he performed at the Parklife Festival in Brisbane on Saturday. Kereama was among the top 12 contestants in Australian Idol's first season in 2003. He was eliminated in week four but his career took off, performing with family band Lethbridge. Kereama is believed to have been suffering from depression |
