Kind of odd picture. While walking through a local cemetery in my hometown of Toronto, Canada last summer, I stumbled across this interesting headstone. The same word "DEATH" is the only marking on both sides of the stone. No name. No date. I guess even death has gotta go sometime.

LOL - I knew Sarah would like that one! So will Fleet probably.
Actually, "Death" is a surname. My mother worked for a Dr. Death (Yep - no kidding - a doctor!) in Sudbury. It's actually pronounced "Deeth". I had a Dr. Bury too for a while! hehe I didn't know you were originally from Toronto Snow. So are you American or Canadian? Was it Mountpleasant Cemetary the pic was taken in? |

I think being Dr Death is weirder than Death on a tombstone

Wow, that's really eerie! Kind of ironic that it's a person's surname, but still... Gives me chills just thinking about it!

There's a movie called "Love & Death in Long Island and John Hurt's character name is Dr. Giles De'Ath. A package is delivered to his house and the delivery guy says "I have a package for Dr. Death", and Giles says it's Dr. Day-ith
Like everybody else has said, it's probably a surname. I'm surprised, too, that there's no first name or dates. Or it could be somebody with a really weird sense of humor!!
