I'm wondering if the whole season will be 5 years in the future too. Gaby wasn't the greatest mother was she? And Lynette & Tom still have their hands full with the boys, who are now teenagers. And whats up with that man Edie married? It was an odd premiere for sure. It may get better.

I thought it was ok. Lynette and Tom's boys are a mess, lol. Maybe it's just me but I think they were aged just a bit too much. They seemed like 7 or 8 last season.

The twins were 11 last year...+5 makes them 16. There are two younger kids as well.

the younger son was TOO young on this weeks episode. He was what, a year younger than the twins when they were little? He looked like he was about five years younger than them tonight

I disliked that premiere more than any premiere of any show that I watch.

I don't like how Susan & Delfino are already divorced & I don't like her new beau.

I don't like Lynette's twin teens. I don't like their personalities on the show.

I don't like Gabrielle's appearance or her kids, but I guess that's the unfortunate reality. Everyone can't be slim & put together.

I'm still trying to figure out if I like Edie's new husband. So far, I'm neutral about it.

I actually like the new Gabby. TV is so unrealistic with its depictions on housewives and it's funny to see Gabrielle, someone who used to be beyond superficial and frivolous now being a dumpy housewife and mother. It serves her right for how she was when she was younger.

I wonder if we'll ever see Andrew out of the suit this season. I thought he was so sexy when he was in the torn jeans and shirt. Granted, I know he is now her manager but managers have off time too, LOL.

I've only watched DH a couple of times, but that's kind of weird to have the show start that far into the future. Wonder what's up with that?

Andrea

I think they wanted something new to make the show fresh again and put the characters in "fish out of water" situations for the audience

No, that is not true. The show will last through season 7 at least.
