What is your favorite state and what state would you like to live in?
For me, it would be a tie between California and Florida. I love the weather in both states. I love the beaches. What I dont like is the earthquakes and hurricanes. |

Wouldn't it be the one you live in lol, unless you show resentment towards folks and people from ___________ (Add your state). For me, it's NJ first, I also like Illinois, specifically Chicago, California- specifically LA, the bay, San Fran & Sacramento. I also like NY but nothing compares to my state Born and Raised.

I've been living in FL since 1977 and I still love it. If I had to move from Fla for whatever reason, I would have to move somewhere it's mostly warm, like TX or AZ. I'm such a wimp when it comes to really cold weather.
I've got a few favorites states, besides Fla. - Maine, PA, TX, AZ, Washington & Oregon. |

It's a close call between New York and New Jersey. As much as i love NYC, I think New Jersey is my favorite by a slim margin.
Don't tell anyone.

New York, but just because it's where I live and so obviously I have some attachment. And I mean the state, not the city. It's annoying to have to clear that up all the time, not all of New York is the city. Gah. In fact, upstate is like a completely different world. They're both nice in their own different ways...though upstate is in a much more boring, dull way. lol
I've never been there, but California seems absolutely amazing and beautiful. Special shout outs to Florida, Maryland, and Pennsylvania as well. Never been to Maryland, but again I think it seems like a beautiful place. I always think of Cherry Blossoms. |

Well of course my hometown, Washington! but I also go to California at least once a year to visit my friends and family. Mostly in La, Simi Valley, Glendale, Long Beach, San Diego and sometimes the bay. La's basically my second home but Seattle will always be my first. I'm really just a west coast girl.

I really like my state's (California's) mild climate and varied scenery. So that is my choice.
First two photos taken last Dec/Jan, last two in July, 2007. |

Baseball rivalry aside, lol, I have to say New York. I've never been there, but I just love the exciting feel and look of it. I love how it's the setting for so many movies, the Macys Day Parade, The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Times Square, Central Park, Broadway, and yes, even the Yankees. New York is a sexy city.

It truley is a different world out here. Lots of farmland and mostly smaller cities. We're really like the "south" of the north. |

I think with New York and the city is that they're so seperated and so far apart. NYC belongs more to New Jersy than New York, really. But too bad, it's ours and they can't have it.

I could be bias and say California, since I live in that state; but, I am not going to. In all honesty, my favorite state is Colorado. I plan to retire there some day.
California, has everything, literally, but, it is also, too crowded and too expensive. My second favorite would be, Hawaii. |
