I was wondering is Jim Belushi from Chicago

Yes, Aaron. Jim Belushi, his late brother John, and their nephew Rob are all actors from the Chicago area. Jim & John actually grew up in Wheaton, IL, a suburb of Chicago about 30 miles west of downtown, about five miles from where I grew up.

The College of DuPage, the local community college in Wheaton, has the John Belushi Memorial Scholarship Fund for Theatre Arts in memory of Jim's brother. I believe, though I may be wrong, that the fund was started by the Belushi family.

Both Belushis, along with the Murray brothers (Bill, Brian Doyle, and Joel) got their real start acting at the famed Second City Theatre Company in downtown Chicago. John then tried his hand at the Second City Toronto branch, where he met Dan Aykroyd.

Jim is a true Chicagoan, and still supports his city and it's arts and entertainment. He is from a long line of terrific Chicago acting families, which include the Belushis, the aforementioned Murrays, the Pivens, the Cusacks, Dennis Franz, Joe Mantegna, John Mahoney, and Brian Dennehey.

Very true. We LOVE Bonnie in the Chicago area! She's awesome. Also, another Second City alum. As well as George Wendt & Shelly Long from Cheers.
