Serious Question for MrIggles about Jim Johnson - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Why is it that every single time the Eagles win and the Defense plays well, Jim Johnson gets all the praise and he is considered a Genius? But when the Eagles lose, no one ever criticizes Jim Johnson, it's always Mcnabb or Andy Reid. This goes all the way back to 2000, every single loss in the NFC Championship, It was Mcnabb Fault. But I have never heard Jim Johnson get blamed for anything.

Just like today, people are blaming mcnabb and reid for last night's loss but for some reason Jim Johnson is not apart of the blame.

Why is that when the Defense gave up 24 points? That man only is mentioned when the Eagles Defense s STOPPING teams not when they don't stop them.

Why does it matter? People don't blame the Dallas defensive or offensive coach when they lose.

He just receives so much praise when the Eagles win and I'm wondering why is he not criticized when the Eagles Defense gives up 3 or more TD's causing the team to lose.

Why is he above crticism?

Yeah but a lot of defensive coaches don't get negativity towards them when their team loses. Matter fact, I never see Dallas' coaches getting the boot. Nobody is perfect though.

My point is if Jim johnson can receive so much praise when the defense is playing wel, then he shouldn't be above criticism when they lose

I'm not praising him for a loss tho lol plus he didn't ruin it for us, it was 2/3 key things

No I'm saying that sometimes I want to hear fans blame him instead of Mcnabb and Reid all the time

Mcnabb and Reid shouldn't be blamed for SH*T they have 75 wins together, same as Joe Montana and Bill Walsh

That is true, and yeah I saw that as well, shocked we're tied with them lol.

I think Jackson and the playcalling at the end of the game lost it for us. McNabb's Interception. Of course he'll get blamed for throwing it, but it was Jackson's fault. He was supposed to run the route then turn around, and he never did. Donovan is supposed to throw to an area where it's the wide receivers job to travel the correct route and catch the ball because D has to get it off early as possible without getting sacked or it getting tipped. Jackson dropped the punt, dropped a couple other passes. There was too many dropped passes for all the wideouts on the Eagles.

I am no Eagles fan, but Jim Johnson IS one of the best defensive coordinators out there. He should be a head coach.

I understand what you mean Solomon, I really do, He has a reputation & most of the time he lives up to his billing, but the dallas game is a good example, he called a horrid defensive gameplan that night. Not one word was said about that, He blitzed Romo 4 times the whole game & 3 out of those 4 times good things happened... I criticized him after the game but my words don't mean s*it in reality but I do know what you mean.

Mcnabb was not the reason they lost the game last night. If you want to point the finger at someone, blame david akers or Deshaun Jackson. That Muffed punt gave the bears the ball at the eagles 13 yd line... Even the bears can score from there

Yes he is..He is a defensive Genius, he comes up with new blitz schemes every single week, I am glad he is on our squad, I would hate facing that
