Hey all,

I've noticed an alarming lack of hockey related threads...although I'm sure things will pick up as the season gets going in less than a week. Before that happens, tho, any hockey fans want to talk pre-season or regular season predictions?? Come on in! I won a bet this summer that myself my broadcast partner and our techie made for the winner of the Calder in February. I picked Kane while Steve said Carey Price and Clint picked Toews...although Toews is now captain (weird), he didn't win the Calder! Anyhow, please post!

I'm a hockey fan.

Sabres fan my whole life.

However, my patience is wearing VERY thin- they have to stop becoming sellers.

If Vanek/Afinogfenov/Roy/Miller are dealt anytime this season, I'm not going to be happy.

Hockey is back! I love hockey...Flyers closed out their last game vs. an NHL team last night at the Spectrum, beat the Canes 4-2...Richards is a beast

4 replies, and 2 of them are fans of teams I don't like LOL My dad goes for the Habs, always has, which is why I go for any team against them hehe Including the Leafs....in case anyone was wondering I'm most loyal to the Ottawa Senators.

Dude I hate the Flyers with a passion...maybe it is because of all the blood bath series we had against them in the 90's & earlier this decade... But Most devil fans hate the rangers more, not me.... F the flyers

BOO, screw the devils lol marty brodeur is a great goalie. I have rivalries in hockey, but they're not as serious as ones in other sports. I don't hate the Rangers and Devils as much as Dallas in football, and the Mets in baseball. I don't like the penguins the most out of our division though. I can see why you like the Devils, being a north jersey guy. yeah, that's true- there is a more distinct rivalry between the Rangers, mostly cause the Devils and Rangers are so close, and the Devils. Flyers got a great team this year..

My best friend is a Flyers fan, and I became one for a month this yr after they handled Montreal. Go Biron!! I agree, I hate NJ, but Martin Brodeur is the greatest goalie of his generation.
