I know the Halloween movies some r ok and others so so,but Halloween 2007 I really thought it was a good remake from Rob Zombie, so Halloween is coming up there putting up or already Halloween candy and other Halloween stuff in stores, but Halloween 2 The Nightmare Isn't Over, was fare for it's day it was made in 1982,but with the deaths of some people that made the film will there be a Halloween 2 remake by Rob Zombie? I would wacth it. Like I said I liked it the first one in 2007 and in 1978. But, in 2008 the remake will be alot of more special effects. Mabe we will find out where Micheal Myers really was.

Yes, there is a sequel planned for Rob Zombie's Halloween...
It seems that there is to be a sequel to Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN. Though the big news here is that Zombie will not be involved in any way. So, stepping in to fill his ample helmic shoes (is helmic a word -- probably not), are INSIDE helmers (that's a word) Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo. The two filmmakers had previously been attached to work on a HELLRAISER remake, but now it seems that they will be working for The Weinstein Company on a follow up to 2007's very successful HALLOWEEN redo. Zombie has not made a bad movie (in my eyes), and his HALLOWEEN kicked all kinds of ass, so the boys have there work cut out with this one. We're guessing that HALLOWEEN REDO 2 will hit on Halloween (or there abouts) in 2009. http://www.thehollywoodnews.com/artm...d-19270808.php |

the second one will be a gigantic bomb IMO. The first one did well simply because people gave it a chance and Zombie let the fans down. I'll completely skip this one out. We'll also see a flop on the league of Halloween 3: Season Of The Witch with this.
Unless they restart the franchise and apologize for Zombie's version (like the next Superman is gonna do), I have no interest. |

I agree with both of you, Zombie's version was a let down. He had the right idea, but sadly, did not execute it properly.

yes, there will be a NOES remake, which is likely to even suck worse than Halloween. There is no Freddy without Robert Englund

I finally saw Rob Zombie's remake a few weeks ago, and while I appreciate his effort, it wasn't that great.
A sequel isn't needed. Stop trying to reboot/reimage/restart/remake the Halloween franchise. |
