1 episode. The pilot episode was shown in May 1989 on a Thursday night following the Cosby Show. This episode was on most accounts considered an episode of 227 and labeled as a backdoor pilot. The episode can be seen within the 227 syndication package as a season four episode. TVOne shows it unedited with the original opening and closing as it came on NBC.

TVOne has stopped showing 227 again. They have aired it on and off again since 2004. I'm not sure if or when it will return to the network. They aired it in broadcast order so, you would see it before the season four finale. It is labled as episode 423. Here is some more info for you:

I think I remember seeing that pilot episode but I don't recall seeing it beyond that. Was Jackee in the 5th season and final season of 227?

Yes she was. She appeared in six episodes and then left.

I saw Jackee in a 1990 interview with Arsenio Hall on YouTube saying her pilot episode came 5th in the ratings of the week it aired. Not sure if that was true but if it was, that's a pretty successful pilot. Perhaps a surprise it was dropped after that.

That was clearly a lie-lol Networks don't yank shows that finish 5th

Nah, Solomon. That sounds accurate. The Cosby Show was the lead in and Cheers aired after that. Naturally people tuned in after "Cosby" to see what was going down. "Jackee" aired after that "57 Varieties" episode of the Cosby Show when Theo wanted to go on that trip to Egypt. Plus Jackee was hot property back in the late 80's.

I did when I was 11. Then I threw out the tape because the film was ripped apart. I should have held on to it and just taped the film back together. I remember that Cosby episode then the "A Different World will not be seen tonight" promo.

As far as another copy of "Jackee". Hmmm I don't know. Some dude in Philladelphia was supposed to send me a new copy two years ago. LOL.

BTW Solomon, I am working on "Kitchen Nightmares" tommorrow.
