Default After watching the Tonight Show last night, It was obvious it's not the same JAY LENO

so disappointed that Jay leno made no mention of Clay aiken saying he was gay. If this was 2002 he would have had all kind of jokes about it but last night he say not one word and I was stunned. That was one of the headlines of the day and it was like it never happened.

I think Jay should just leave now and not wait until 2009. he proved it's over now

It seems like he's toned down his beginning monologue. It seems like he really doesn't want to be there anymore, and I don't blame him, after the way NBC treated him. It's just kinda sad though, I would've liked to have seen him go out with a bang, you know?

nah, Jay is still good. it's just his monologue. I'm thinking he might go to ABC once he's done since he always jokes about going there anyways.

Even though you're right, I still like Jay. Conan= horrible. Letterman= a blistering idiot. Carson isn't bad but he's on way too late and only has a half hour show. Forget the rest, I still would like & watch Jay.

he has toned down the monologue a bit, but it's still hilarious-LOL. You can tell that he just doesn't want to be there anymore, but who can blame him? NBC is kicking him off his throne, and we'll probably be seeing the same things until he leaves come June or whenever.

Maybe Leno believes one's sexual orientation is a biological fact of life and doesn't see it as a source of humor.

So your argument is that because Leno has joked about one person's orientation, he has to make a joke about it whenever anyone's orientation is noted? I bet if Pat Robertson or Fred Phelps came out in People magazine, that would be noteworthy. Personally, I think homophobia jokes are ridiculous and unnecessary.
