Oh my gosh, I LOVE Gordon Clapp! I wrote to him and other cast members of NYPD Blue the day after the finale aired (I was in mourning, I guess! I loved that show!) and a few weeks later, I got an autographed picture of him! He was also a guest star in one of my all-time favorite episodes of Monk! He was great, even if he wasn't the "nicest" person on the show! I won't say why becauase I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but it's called "Mr. Monk Gets a New Shrink".
