Favorite Award Shows? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm not big on award shows, but I was just curious as to what people like...
After watching this year's Emmy Awards, I'm going to say that I like the Emmys the best. The reason is because even if I haven't watched most of the TV shows that are up for nominations, Chances are that I've watched at least some of them once. With the Grammy's it seems that many of the nominees (like Amy Winehouse), I've never even heard of before. And the Grammy's... I used to like them, but lately their choices of movies hasn't been so great. But then again, neither have films that have come out. And if I've never seen any of the nominated films-or have no desire to-then the Academy Awards are meaningless to me!
The Tonys? Well, I usually only watch when there is someone I'm interested in nominated. But the musical numbers are pretty good.

PS:In all honesty, I don't like awards shows at all, and I'd much rather just search the net the next day to see the results. Saves me three+ hours, anyway!

Emmys(Daytime/Primetime), Oscars, Grammys & People Choice are one of the great big award shows but i'm picking the Academy Awards.
