A Spine-Chilling Dog Story - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Robin Deland was driving on an unpaved, narrow and winding road near Gunnison, Colorado, one night, when suddenly a dog appeared in his headlights. Deland braked to a stop and sat frozen in his seat. The dog was
Jeff--his collie that had died six months ago!

Deland leaped from the car and called out the name of his beloved dog, but
Jeff spun and ran off.

Determined to get to the bottom of the eerie mystery, Deland followed but
could not catch up to the dog he was absolutely convinced had been his.
What he found instead was a place in the road where a piece of the highway
had given way. Had he not been stopped by the ghost of Jeff, Deland and his
car would have plunged to a horrifying death.
