Julia Louis-Dreyfus' former Seinfeld boyfriend Tim DeKay (he was Bizarro Jerry, 'memba?) is joining the cast of The New Adventures of Old Christine for a three-episode arc, sources confirm to me exclusively.

DeKay -- whose most memorable role to date IMHO is that of Jonesy on HBO's late, great Carnivàle -- will be playing a love interest for Christine. I'm guessing her new wife, Barb, will have something (hilarious) to say about that.

Old Christine's fourth season kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 8 p.m. It's a new night and time. Make note of it.
