I got mine today. I'm going to try to wait until the holiday season to watch it. I wonder how long I can hold out?

Hold out ?...I would have had the wrapper off of it as soon as I took it out of the mail.
Is that a Shout or Mill creek product ? Does it contain any last season shows in color ? I'm going to order the Best of Rick & David DVD. I already have the Essential and The Best of from Shout. I did not care for the Platinum releases. They edited out Rick's singing etc..... |

If there's anything on here I don't have I'll certainly get it. But I may have all the Xmas eps on it. Have to go back & check!
But what do I REALLY want for Xmas? ANOTHER Mill Creek 100 ep set where there are at least 25 eps I don't already have! (Santa are you listening...???

It's Shout and all the info, episodes, etc can be found by clicking the dvd photo at the top of this page. Rich, I have all the episodes on this dvd too, but they're on different discs, so I just decided to get this one so I'd have all of them together. It was cheap, only $5.99 from discountdvd, and free shipping. $1.50 per episode is worth it to me to have them together. I'm with you, the best thing would be another 100 episode set. The last one was great. |

I was debating on whether to get this or not, but I'm always a sucker for Christmas movies and TV shows.....in fact I enjoy watching them more than the actual holiday itself (which tends to be on the boring side for me).

And re Platinum, their DVD set was a little cheesy; I remember they screwed up two ep titles & seemed like they were edited down. |

After seeing the Mill Creek releases, I enjoy the Platinum set less.

I opened my "Christmas With The Nelsons" today, didn't watch any yet but I find it amazing what slips by and the lack of correct info on boxart, etc. This might be a minor point but considering there are only 4 episodes on this set, you would think the synopsis of the episodes would be correct....for "The Christmas Tree Lot" it states, the boys try and sell trees from the backyard. We all know that the trees just get delivered to the backyard but the boys intention was always to rent a lot and eventually do it indoors. the episode synopsis gives the impression of a totally different episode, which might have been fun if the boys really did sell the trees from the backyard!

Mill Creek is doing a great job releasing rare and otherwise stuff that the major studios will never touch!
