Default After getting swept by the Phillies, the Brewers Manager was FIRED TODAY-lol GOOD

No way in hell should they have lost 4 in a row to the Phillies when leading the Phils by 4 games. He derserves to be fired and Ned yost should be a ashier in Radio Shack Great Move by Brewers.

The Brewers went into Philly on Thursday with a 4 game lead in the Wildcard race and lost all 4 games and are now tied with the Phillies for the wildcard and that's why he is gone. I guess my endless emails all day to Brewers management WORK-lol

lol well they were still in the hunt. They've been horrible this month but it's surprising because they still could of made the playoffs and if they didn't or didn't want Ned as their coach anymore, they could fire him 2 weeks later lol. I guess they think they can win with Dale Sveum lol.

I understand firing him after the season, if they don't make the playoffs, but this seems so weird.

I just don't think it was the sweep by the Phillies, it was the Sweep by the Mets recently at home and overall the last 3-4 weeks

It looks like it maybe be because the Brewers are
3-10 since September 1st.

And out of those 10 losses, 7 of them were sweeps to the Mets and Phillies

I understand firing him, I guess the Brewers GM is desperate for a playoff run.

Knowing that the Phillies were chasing them for the wildcard, I'm still stunned they lost all 4 games. Somebody had to pay for it

As a Mets fan this move comes too late and any spark it might give the Brewers is of no help now- it actually could hurt. Since the Mets might end up in the wildcard hunt they need the Brewers to lose.

I'm hoping the Mets win the NL east and the Phillies are home. I don' even want them to win the wildcard-lol
