Jinny's Back

I really hope everyone likes my fan-fic...Enjoy!

Jinny walks into The Division. Magda hears something and looks up, "Hey
Jin! I’m so glad you’re back!"
"Hey Mag. I’m glad I can come back now. You don’t realize how boring it is
sitting at home watching TV for 3 months is." Jinny said laughing.
"I can imagine," Magda said. Jinny sets her things down and starts to put them
into the drawers where they belong.
"Be right back, I need to put this in my locker," Jinny said.
"Ok," Magda said surprised, Jinny never told her where she was going...Jinny
walks back in.
Jinny just had to ask, "Who’s your new partner?"
"Last time I checked, you’re my partner," Magda said surprised.
"Oh, I thought since I wasn’t a good partner and all-" Jinny was cut off my Kate
walking out of her office. The last thing she wanted was for her to know what
Magda and her were talking about.
"Magda. Jinny. In my office," Kate said as if nothing had ever happened before.
"Well then, nice to see you too," Jinny said sarcastically. Magda laughed and got
up from her desk with Jinny following. Kate does that hand motion thing to shut
the door.
"What’s up Cap?" Magda asked.
"There’s been a murder on 54th street this morning," Kate continued, "The
woman, Lisa Parks, had 3 kids, 1 girl and 2 boys, and a husband. I want them
to know who killed their mother so this person can be locked up and the family
can maybe rest better at night..."
"We’re on it," Magda said getting the case folder from Kate. They both walk out
of Kate’s office. They both sit down in their desk.

* Flashback *

Jinny walked in her house just coming from school.
"Mom,"she called.
Nobody answered. She walked into her parent’s bedroom.
"What’s that smell?" Jinny asked herself. She sees her mom’s feet sticking out
from the bathroom. Jinny walks over to the bathroom and pushes the door open
all the way. Tears just started rolling down her face.
"NO!! NO!!," she screams over and over as she looked at her mother’s lifeless
body. The whole side of her head was blown off. All of a sudden, she heard
someone running through the house. It was John Sr. He push her out of the
way.

* End Flashback *

"Uh- Jin? Jinny?" Magda said looking at Jinny.
"Oh, uh, yeah?"Jinny said with tears about to start running down her face.
"Are you ok?" Magda asked concerned, "You know, you can tell me anything."
Jinny nods, "Yes, I know...It’s nothing."
"Are you sure?" Magda asked.
"Geez Mag, get off my back," Jinny said walking out and going in the locker
room. She opens her locker door and takes a bottle out of her bag.
"Oh come on Jinny, don’t do this," Jinny said to herself. Jinny takes a swig of
vodka, ashamed of herself.

Awesome, that's really great! I love your writing. Just......Jinny's still drinking dang it!! hahaha... Poor Jinny *sniff sniff* Well continue already ... yes, I mean now..Sheesh! lol

LOL Miranda! BTW, this fan fic is based on Magda and Jinny's case...and Kate's love life...

Jinny sticks a piece of gum in her mouth while walking back towards her desk.
“Look Mag, I’m sorry,” Jinny said.
“No, it’s ok, I can see how much stress this case can put on you and all,” Magda
said.
“Yeah, thanks for understanding,” Jinny said.
“So, you ready to go check out the scene of the crime?” Magda asked.
“Yeah, I guess,” Jinny said.
“Ok, let’s go,” Magda said.
“Alrighty,” Jinny said. Both got up and started walking out while CD walks in,
“Oh, hey Jin, welcome back!”
“Thanks CD, see ya later,” Jinny said.
Magda and Jinny both get in the car. Jinny turns on the radio and hears “What’s
Going On” by a whole bunch of different artist and starts singing.
“..Somebody tell me what’s going on. We got human beings using humans for a
bomb. But everybody wanna live, ain’t nobody really wanna die...” Jinny sang.
“Ok, Jin, that’s enough,” Magda said laughing.
“Well, that song is so true,” Jinny said.
They pulled up at the crime scene. Got out of the car and walked towards
Steven.
“Hey Steven,” Jinny said.
“Hello Inspectors,” Steve said.
“So, what happened here,” Magda asked.
“Well, apparently, Mrs. Parks was walking back from the grocery store and
somebody came up behind her and shot her in the back of the head twice,”
Steven said looking at the body.
“Well Mag, let’s go,” said Jinny starting to walk away.
“Ok, I’m right behind you,” Magda said walking with Jinny.
They both get in the car and Jinny is about to turn on the radio when Magda
stops her, “Not this time.”
Jinny gives her a in-your-dreams type look and she moves her hand. “Let’s see,”
Jinny said. She heard “Peaches -n- Cream” by 112 and makes a disgusted face.
Flips through some more and hears Alicia Keys’ “A Woman’s Worth” and starts
singing, “Cuz a real man knows a real woman when he sees her And a real
woman knows a real man ain't afraid to please her And a real woman knows a
real man always come first And a real man just can't deny A womans worth”
Magda laughs, “Jinny, are you high?”
“HAHA!! Nope,” Jinny said laughing with Magda.
“Here we are,” Magda said while getting out of the car.
“Right,” Jinny said getting out and standing up.
They both walk in and asks everyone if they’ve seen that woman the night
before. Finally, a cashier named Tracey recognized the woman in the picture.
“Yes, I’ve seen her before, last night actually,” Tracey continued, “Her and her
daughter were here.”

“Her daughter?” Magda asked, confused.
“Yes, they both came in here together and left together. Why, is there
something wrong?” Tracey asked.
“Oh, uh, no. Thanks for your help,” Magda said. She started walking towards
Jinny, “That cashier over there, Tracey, told me that Mrs. Parks’ daughter was
here with her.”
“I think we need to pay a little visit to her family,” Jinny stated.
“Ok, lets go, Magda said while starting to walk out.
They both get in the car and drive off.
“This case seems very strange here,” Jinny said.
“Yeah...” Magda agreed.
They pull up at Mr. Parks’ house and get out of the car. They both walk
side-by-side up to the front door. Magda knocks on the door. No answer. This
time, Jinny bangs on the door and someone finally answers.
“Yes?” the man asked.
“Hi, I’m Inspector Exstead and this is my partner, Inspector Ramirez,” Jinny
continued, “We’re here to talk about the death of a Mrs. Parks.”
“Oh, yes, my wife,” Mr. Parks answered, “Please, do come in.”
“Thankyou,” Magda and Jinny said in unison as they walked in.
“This way,” Mr. Parks said while leading them to the living room, “Please, make
yourself at home.”
“Oh, you don’t want me to do that,” Jinny mumbled.
“Jinny! I heard that,” Magda said laughing.
“Mr. Parks, do you mind if we speak to your daughter?” Jinny asked.
“No, not at all,” Mr. Parks answered confusedly, “Jessica, come here hunny.”
They could hear footsteps running towards them and then saw Jessica’s small
body, “Yes daddy?” You could see tears in her eyes from where she had been
crying all morning.
“These two nice ladies want to talk to you.” Mr. Parks told her.

* Flashback *

“Jinny!” John Sr. called.
“What Dad?” Jinny asked.
“These two Inspectors want to talk to you,” John told her.
“Yeah, ok,” Jinny said while tears started to fill her eyes. She knew exactly what
this was about...

* End Flashback *

“Ok Dad,” Jessica said.
“It may be better if we take her up to the station and ask her a few questions,”
Jinny said.
“ I don’t-” Mr. Parks was cut off.
“I’ll be more than welcome to take her back her as soon as we’re done.” Jinny
assured him.
“Well, I guess it’s alright,” Mr. Parks said.
“Ok, let’s go,” Magda said getting up.
They all walk out of the house and get into the car.
A few minutes later, they pull up at The Division.
“This is it,” Jinny said, talking to Jessica.
“Okie Dokie,” Jessica said getting out of the car. Magda and Jinny got out and
led the way to the interrogation room.
