Melrose Place season 5 :(? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't know if this has been asked yet but does anyone have any information or idea of when season 5 will be coming out?? 90210 already has season 5 now what's taking Melrose so long? It's pretty depressing that it's not airing on any channel anymore AND they only have 4/7 dvd's out.

I don't know, but I'm waiting on it too (& also Fresh Prince of Bel Air).

What I don't understand is how certain much newer shows that either didn't last that long (maybe no more than 3 seasons) & are completely off the air OR are still going on now already have all their DVD seasons out, while the old favorites that were a lot more popular & lasted several seasons or more are taking FOREVER!

I know! everyone loves Melrose lol. They should have had the whole series out by now.

Do you think the move to Monday was the right move for 'Melrose' or should they have stuck to Wednesdays?

Wednesdays. I was already watching 7th Heaven on Mondays.

That is impossible because Melrose Place was moved to Mondays YEARS before 7th Heaven even debuted. MP moved to Monday in 1993 and 7th Heaven didn't even debut until 1997.

And the move to Monday's worked great for Melrose, it allowed the network to dominate monday nights and gave Melrose it's own identity away from "90210" and helped Melrose become the cultural phenomnam that it became.

staying on Wed nights would have been foolish.

Melrose and Ally McBeal on Monday's was a great comobnation and helped FOX get excellent ratings.
