I was at a party with a friend of mine who came down from Minnesota, he's a fan but not like a real big fan but he does watch the games. We couldn't believe their offense, if they got Favre and a tight end, and receivers in the off-season, they would be a superbowl calibur team. Even if they didn't pick up a receiver, having Favre would make up for it and he could run his own plays, making 3rd option/4th option receivers look great. Obviously that didn't and wouldn't happen to trade a great, complete player like Favre to a team in the same division. But Minnesota needs a QB bad. Jackson is young but he doesn't have a arm or pocket presence at all. I think they will be 7-9 or 8-8 this season unless they fix the same mistakes on offense they were making last season. They should of beat a weak Indy offense today, Manning didn't look like himself at all. And I like Brad Childress, from being a former Eagles o coach and I think he's not bad. He's still learning, he needs a QB like Manning who can handle the offense himself.

The Viking need to make a change at QB and fast. They are too talented to be 0-2.

I agree BD. Way too much talent being wasted. Like my signature.

I think it's more the coach than the QB

I think it is a combination, but if your qb can't make plays down the field, you have to rely on what is working offensively and that right now is their running game.

The coach is part of it, but he doesn't throw the ball, or isn't in the pocket lol.

True but he doesn't make the dumb a$$ calls like-"a 50 yd pass on 3rd and 9. That was not Jackson's fault, it was the coach

Yeah that was stupid lol. Solomon, did you see towards the end where Jackson faked to the right and turned to the left to throw and the Indy guy was right there? He should of thrown it out of bounds. Oh and Favre vs. the Pats. When it was 3rd and 5 or 3rd and 2 and they were down 16-10, Favre took a sack for 20 YARDS lol I was like c'mon Brett. The Pat guy took down 2 Jets on the play if you seen it lol.

Did my ears just deceive me or did I hear John Madden say Jim Brown is the greatest football player ever? Great player, but I'll take Montana, Jerry Rice, Emmitt, Unitas and others over him. Barry Sanders > Brown and Brown was a nice running back.

Oh maybe. Even then, he is a great player but i'll take LT, Emmit, Barry Sanders and Sweetness lol- Walter Payton, over JB. Nothing against him, even with great players, their are players- running backs even greater.
