Default Sitcoms with no spinoffs

How many successful sitcoms have there been that have NEVER sired spinoff shows?

A Different World was a Cosby Show spin-off, with Lisa Bonet
reprising her role as Denise Huxtable.

The following long-running, hit sit-coms had no spin-offs:

The Honeymooners (15 seasons, incl. The Jackie Gleason Show)
The Danny Thomas Show (13 seasons)
My Three Sons (12 seasons)
Father Knows Best (9 seasons)
The Donna Reed Show (8 seasons)
The George Burns & Gracie Allen Show (8 seasons)

All of these shows ran for eight seasons or more. The fact that they are all
from the 1950s is probably no coincidence; repetition didn't set in until the
1960s.

Depends on how one defines a spin-off. Danny Thomas Show gave birth to Andy Griffith in the same way Happy Days gave birth to Laverne and Shirley and Mork and Mindy.

The Danny Thomas Show also gave birth to the Bill Dana Show (1963-1965) and The Joey Bishop Show (1961-1964).

Not to contradict you at all, but was "That 80's Show" considered a spin-off? I know it didn't last very long.

A very successful show that definitely didn't have a spin off was "Seinfeld". I could see the possibility of one, but I'm glad they never went this route.

No That 80's Show was not a spinoff, it was a different show with a completely different cast. Nothing attached it to That 70's Show.
