I go to Radio Shack on the way home from work and once I brung the headphones to the counter the cashier asked me..........

Your phone number?
Last name?
First name?
Address?
Have you heard of our new??

To the point where I'm like-"JUST GIVE MY SH*T SO I CAN GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!

i usually just get asked for either my zip code or phone number. but there's always a "would you like to sign up for our credit card...?" i know it's part of their job to sell more things or get people to sign up for a credit card, but no, i've got enough credit cards, thank you.

Then don't go shopping if it's that much of a problem for you. Stores ask that while being annoying, cause their job is to sell so much to the customer and offer them deals or what not. When I went to this little store equivalent to Wawa the other day, the woman offered me something I could use to save money on milk. So I took it. Some stores are more annoying then others, espec. ones that sell electronics.

When they ask for your zip code, what they're doing is adding to a survey to see what people in certain parts of the country are buying.

Absolutely! The only drawback is not being able to see the merchandise up close before paying, but I buy online all the time and rarely if ever have I had a problem! Online shopping is WONDERFUL!

Radio Shack is the worlds worst when it comes to asking for personal information. I hate going in there.
