I think at least some of them could have. All the color sketches shown on ALN run about 42 minutes. That means there might be room for them to show three color sketches within one hour or four within one hour (remember when a short lost episode sketch is shown it is paired with another one to fit a half-hour format.)
Using that formula, I think it could be possible to show at least six or all eight short skecthes (I don't know for sure how long "The Incredible World of Ed Norton" is). So, what reason could there be not to show them in syndication? |

I'd say the length of the shows definitely has something to do with it. The Lost Episodes were all different lengths, so to show them in syndication, there was no choice but to pair some of them up. 42 out of the 49 Color Honeymooners episodes took up the entire hour of TJGS...in other words, they WERE the show, rather than being a part of it, as the shorter sketches were. I can understand why they would have been left out of the syndication package, but the least MPI could've done was release them as bonus material on the DVD's.
