So, oh, yeah, if you like this one, then I just might be able to write more of their lives... Like college and stuffz... So, tell me what y'all honestly think, ko? Ko!!

Graduation and Other Musings

Chapter One: Jinny

“... And on behalf of the school board,” the PA system crackled. “We’d like to congratulate the Tillman Tigers on First Place in the Nation Cheerleading Competition. Come by and see the trophy and be sure to congratulate Magda Ramirez and the rest of the squad on an amazing victory. Thank you.”
The class erupted in applause and Magda stood up and took a bow.
Teddy leaned forward in his chair and kissed me on the neck. “I’m so proud of you!” he whispered.
“Oh, thanks!” I whispered back.
“All right, settle down!” Mr. Fair commanded. He glanced at Teddy and I and cleared his throat. “Ahem. Mr. Blumenthal and Ms. Exstead, would you care to join us in class? Or would you prefer for the class to chip in and get you a room at Super 8 just down the road?”
Teddy sat back and I crossed my legs and started swinging my foot. “We’d like the honeymoon suite, please.”
Our class laughed and Magda threw me a look that could kill and army.
“Very funny, Exstead,” Mr. Fair continued. “Anyway, you all know that graduation is exactly four weeks from today.”
We applauded again and some of the guys whistled.
Mr. Fair held up a hand. “But... that means that you have to write an essay.”
We groaned and said, “Boo!”
“But, I’ll make it easy on you. You’ll write a valedictory, even if you are just barely passing this grade or class. Three pages front and back.”
Teddy opened his mouth to protest but I stopped him. “We’re lucky!” I whispered. “He made John’s class do two book reports, three essays, and an editorial.”
He sat back and I smiled contentedly. I was going to pass this class with flying colors.

Chapter Two: Magda

“Good Lord,” Jinny said in the library that day after school. “I have nothing to write! I mean, I know what I want to say, but I can’t put it down on paper.”
“Ditto!” I exclaimed and threw another sheet of paper in the trashcan beside the table. I glanced over at Teddy who was hunched over his notebook looking up every once in a while then ducking back down to write what he had just thought about. “Is Teddy the only one of us that knows what he’s doing?”
Jin smiled. “Looks like. Come on, Magda. Let’s go shopping. Maybe it’ll stimulate our minds.”
I smiled. “Okay!”

It's not very long or very interesting yet, but I promise... we're getting there! Slowly but surely...

“Good Lord,” Jinny said in the library that day after school. “I have nothing to write! I mean, I know what I want to say, but I can’t put it down on paper.”
“Ditto!” I exclaimed and threw another sheet of paper in the trashcan beside the table. I glanced over at Teddy who was hunched over his notebook looking up every once in a while then ducking back down to write what he had just thought about. “Is Teddy the only one of us that knows what he’s doing?”
Jin smiled. “Looks like. Come on, Magda. Let’s go shopping. Maybe it’ll stimulate our minds.”
I smiled. “Okay!”
Jinny nudged Theodore's shoulder. "Yo, Hemingway, we're goin' to the mall. Wanna go?"
He nodded, stood up, and followed us out of the library door.

"I really like that movie," I told Jinny. "I mean, I never, EVER thought that I'd like Sci-Fi, but that was just... Oh, good!"
"I know," Gabriel smiled. (You're confused right now. We bumped into Gabriel by the movie theater. He's my boyfriend.) "I knew after you saw 'The Others" you'd love Sci-Fi."
Jin laughed and Theodore fed her another bite of ice cream.
Gabriel looked at me and motioned to Jinny and Teddy. I shrugged and said, "Well, we better get goin' if we're gonna get home by curfew. Gabriel, I wish we could spend more time together. Tomorrow?"
He smiled. That's what I love about Gabriel. "Sure." He kissed me and waved to Jinny and Teddy who were too enrgrosed in a game of tonsil hockey to notice.
"Come on." I pried them apart and we left.

It's coming. Tell me if I should continue!

"Cast him out! Cast him out! Cas him out!" lolzies-ative.

(Makes punching motions to the abdominal area, and rolls over Danielle, while still screaming...) Cast them out, cast them out! (Stands up, and helps Danielle up.) There, how do you feel?)
D: (Breathing hard.) Uh, okay, I guess...
K: Okay, bye! Call me, you have my number, okay? (Doesn't wait for response, but turns out and pulls a cell phone out of her pocket. Kenzie drops it, and when she turns around to pick it up, Danielle jumps back.) Call me!

The end, can you believe that's part of an actual play at our church? Part of it, at least, it has a meaning to it. Kenzie, great job on your story!!! I'm glad that you kept talking about it, you made me want to read it, and it's soooo awesome! BTW, if you go to the Jr high game, tell me how we do, especially #40 (which u know who it is, lolitive!). Okay, I gotta say it's great one more time, then I must leave and study for science, buh-byezies!

(Have you noticed how off topic that was? I'm getting better! :P)
