I need an example of a TV show where:
-there's an extended family living together (ex. mother, father, grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, etc) -there's a gay or lesbian family living together -there's a childless family living together (two married people without children) -there's a common-law family living together I don't watch much TV (at all) anymore so I'm totally stuck. :/ |

For the childless couple: Bob and Emily Hartley on "The Bob Newhart Show"
On "Dharma and Greg" Dharma's parents(Larry and Abby) were a common law couple. Hope this helps!

I hope this counts. On Dr. Quinn, Michaela wasn't married when the show debuted but she ended up inheriting another woman's children after the woman died. Later on, she ended up marrying Sully and having a biological child of her own and they all lived together.
On Step by Step, the two main characters got married and their kids became step siblings but later ended up having a biological child of their own which became a sister to both sets of kids. The Brady Bunch did something similar except they never had any biological children of thier own. They just adopted each other kids and called it a day. On Eight Simple Rules the family started out as a regular family; mother, father, and children and then Paul died. Cate's father moved in with them as well as Cate's cousin. On The Cosby Show, they started out as a regular family as well. Mother, father and children. Eventually, the children got married and then their husbands moved in as well as their children throughout the series. There was even a stepchild, Olivia that became part of the family and she ended up living there too with her father Martin and her stepmother Denise. On The Fresh Prince Will moved in with his aunt, uncle and cousins and was thought of as a son and sibling instead of just a nephew or a cousin. |

Wasn't there a short-lived show a couple of years ago similar to Dharma and Greg except that "Dharma" was the daughter of a gay couple?
