Okay...the song (in Astericks) is Downtime, by Jo Dee Messina, this is a Jinny Teddy break-up.

"But Teddy, I'm Sorry" She says crying.
"I'm sorry Jinny, I just can't be hurt again." Teddy says, as he walks out of her house, and out of her life forever.

*I haven’t been myself these days according to friends
I tend to lose part of me when my heart’s on the mend
I’ll be alright it’s safe to say

The next day Jinny walked into the station, she looked like a mess. She hadn't slept at all the night before.
"Jin, you okay." Magda asked her, noticing her friend looked horrible

I’ll get on my feet and over you
I tell myself that everything will be just fine
I’m just going through a little down-time*

"Yeah Mag, I'm fine. I just couldn't sleep last night. That's all."
Magda looked at her friend, she could tell that something was wrong, but Jin refused to talk.
"Jinny, c'mon talk to me."
"Later."

I must admit it threw me at first
But I’m convinced I’m over the worst*

That night after work Jinny and Magda went to Anchorside.
"So Jinny, what happened?"
"Teddy got mad at me."
"Why?"
"I well sorta...I well I slept with another guy, and he well sorta saw me."

"Jinny, why?? Things were going so good with you 2."
"I know, he just I don't know, I guess when he turned down our trip, I wanted someone to love me, and I went back to my old habbit."
Jinny started to cry, Magda knew it would take a while for her to get over this. And all she could do was comfort her.

Okay...so I know that this sucks...but I was listening to "Downtime" and this idea popped into my head.
