Yasbeck writing book about Ritter
Blue Ash, OH native and actress Amy Yasbeck plans to write a book about her late husband, John Ritter, for Simon & Schuster. Ritter died five years ago Thursdsy on Sept. 11 from an undiagnosed thoracic aortic dissection - a tear in the aorta lining allowing blood to escape - after becoming ill taping "8 Simple Rules." A month after he died, Yasbeck started the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health (www.johnritterfoundation.org). "Through the foundation, people are literally getting their lives saved," she told the Sept. 8-14 TV Guide. |

I would definetely buy that book. I love Amy and it seemed like her and John were a very loving couple.

That's good to know. I always thought Amy Yasbeck was a very sweet lady whenever I saw her on any TV show that she did.

"With Love and Laughter, John Ritter" will be published by Simon & Schuster in September, on the seventh anniversary of Ritter's death from an undiagnosed aortic dissection.
"It's about John's take on everything, and what it was like to live with him," says Yasbeck, an Ursuline Academy graduate and actress who met Ritter shooting "Problem Child" in 1989. "People have seen him as the celebrity, but this will be about the friend, the dad and the husband." This seems like a great book, i'm looking forward to reading it. I miss John and I loved the relationship between Amy and him.
