Default EAGLES/RAMS Thoughts

Going into this season I really was not sure what to expect out of my beloved team this year. I heard good things coming out of the novacare complex, but I was yet to see them out on the field. Some members of the national media have the eagles in the superowl, some having them winning it. I think one thing is for sure after seeing the game yesterday, the eagles are very much improved from last year. I know its the rams, I get that & I am not making more out of this than it is, but I saw something yesterday that I have not seen in years, and that is a complete 3 angle game. The offense, the defense, the special teams all with solid efforts. It is nice to have the other team start at their own 20 instead of the 40 like almost every drive the last 4 years. The offense with alot of our key guys out, put up awesome numbers & deshaun Jackson BTW..This just in... He is a player!!!! The defense looks superb, 3 probowl corners, ball hawking all over the place. Dmac is healthy, they have the best running back in football & a new take no prisoners defense oh yeah the new kid on the block DJACK...

I have been an eagle fan & a football since 1980 & i have learned never to get to high or too low after one game. Yesterday was a powerful start to the season with very little for me to complain about. It was week 1, It was the rams & I enjoyed the win yesterday, I will watch the game on tv tonight, then its week 2. We will know alot about the eagles in the next 2 weeks. In the next 2 weeks we play the two teams I picked for the superbowl, the cowboys & the steelers. Alot will be learned in the coming weeks, but this iggle fan learned alot in week number 1

I know it was the Rams Mikey, but the Eagles totally dominated yesterday.

They looked the same way against the lions in last year's home opener so you don't know if they have improved yet Mike.

Trust me bro, they have improved....

You know me, I am very honest & very objective, I saw some very good things yesterday, not only offensively, but defensively & more importantly special teams. If you watch every down of every game like I do (in my case multiple times each week) you can clearly see the difference from the 07 eagles to the 08 eagles

The team is vastly improved, but the next 2 weeks will tell me alot. I picked the steelers & the boys for the superbowl & that exactly who we have the next 2 weeks. If they play on the same level as the cowboys & steelers & lose heartbreakers I can deal with it, if they come out next week & get beat to a pulp then I know they are not there yet.

I think you will agree Sol I am about as diehard as they come & i know this team inside & out & they are a better team, I just don't know how much better just yet

I think the rams will play better next week (how could they not), the giants will still win going away I think.

probably although the rams may keep it close for a bit. They usually show up at home

I agree Mike, Eagles looked great on all 3 sides. Deshaun Jackson is gonna be a superstar.

And that's the definition of a losing team-"only winning at home"

LOL

Yet the Mets are below .500 on the road, only having a winning record at home, while the Phils have a winning record both at home and away.

Excuses Excuses...What do you say to that? I just **** on your belief that bad teams just win at home, and gave you an example using your own team lol. Yet you come back with, I have gas. I have a point.
