Just read on yahoo sports which was on the cowboyszone.com website and he has a ACL tear. Hate to see a Great Player like Tom Brady go down like that in week 1. What a shame.

Same thing and same injury happened to Randall cunningham in the 1991 season

I'm old enough to remember what happened to Randall in 1991.

I also know that the Eagles still had an AMAZING defense to rally around.

New England's defense... not the 1991 Eagles.

Yeah I was shocked that the Eagles still won 10 games that year but just missed the playoffs. Yeah the Eagles Defense was solid that year.

I'm never glad when good players go down. I'd rather see them get beaten on the field. If I was a player I'd rather beat the best rather than some second tier team. I'm glad the injury was not due to a late hit or something like that.
