Cool What's your favorite show starring a former Wings cast member?

I saw a little of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and thought it had great potential. That's probably why I refused to allow myself to get too attached. Same with Friday Night Lights and Men in Trees and any ecent-looking TV show in general nowadays.

I didn't think Ned and Stacey was that bad. It was funnier than Will and Grace, which I still think was just N&S with gay characters.

I remember watching one episode each of Cursed and Stark Raving Mad and thinking they were awful.

I never had any interest in watching Monk, The Nine, Private Practice, or any other drama.

Monk - I only started watching it because of Tony Shalhoub and now it's one of my top ten favorite shows ever. In fact, I now think of Tony Shalhoub more as Monk than as Antonio. That's something I never thought would happen when I started watching "Monk."

Ned & Stacey - I really like this show. I guess two seasons is a short run, but for this show I think it was just right. I mean the two characters agreed to be married for only two years, and we got to see those two years. Plus, that premise couldn't have last much longer.

Cursed/The Weber Show - I may have been one of the few people to like this show. But I like it! I recorded them off of NBC when they aired. I thought it was funny. There was definately room for improvement, but I thought they were on the right track.

I never saw "Stark Raving Mad." Although I wonder if it will come to DVD soon. Now that both of it's stars (Tony Shalhoub & Neil Patrick Harris) are famous again.

I also never saw any of the other shows Tim Daly and Steven Weber have done.

A co-worker of mine watched a whole season of Monk before she realized it was Antonio from Wings! Tony will always be Antonio to be. I do like the idea of the show portraying someone with a severe mental illness who can actually hold a job and function in society instead of living in the streets or in a hospital. And at least he's solving the murders instead of committing them.

I just can't stand watching murder mysteries and other violent stuff. I just can't. That's just me. Call me pathetic or a baby, but I don't like watching violent TV shows and movies.

Edited because apparently, I'm becoming as bad as my students when it comes to proofreading my writing!

Happy Days - has always been one of my favorite shows, and I loved Crystal Bernard as K.C. Cunningham

Life on a Stick - it was short, it was stupid, but i loved it and Amy Yasbeck was GREAT in it.

Ned and Stacey - LOVED this show.

Its a Living - one of my favorite sitcoms of the 80's, Crystal Bernard was great in it, but Ann Jillian was my favorite.

Monk - I didn't start watching it until sometime in either the second or third season, but i haven't missed a single episode since i got hooked.

Eyes - loved this show, they canceled it too quick though

The Nine - another show canceled way too soon, I still haven't seen the unaired episodes so i have no idea how it ends.

*I really wish i had seen an episode of Stark Raving Mad, it sounds like something i would've liked.

Monk - one of my favorite shows- ever.

Stark Raving Mad - a very funny show that given the chance would have lasted. Look at the current success of its two stars.

Monk, definitely! And for those who don't know, both STeven Webber and Tim Daly have guest stared on different episodes... and they were both awesome, but Steven Webber's performance was so convincing as a shock jock that I wanted to reach through the TV and strangle him!

I did see part of that episode. He really was a jerk!

I think it's so funny that at one point, USA was known for showing so many Wings reruns and now one of its most successful origional series stars a former Wings cast member

Monk is my favorite. It's one of the few shows that I watch every single week. None of the other shows really come close, although I'm starting to get into Ned and Stacey after buying the season 1 DVD recently. I remember liking Cursed and Stark Raving Mad. It's a shame none of those shows lasted very long.

Can't say there's even one, Kristen. Yes, I definitely try each one since I loved the Wings cast, but nothing has grabbed me. Cursed, Stark Raving Mad, The Fugitive, The Nine, Ned and Stacey, Eyes, Studio 60, Private Practice, Monk. None of them work for me.

I'm so hard to impress in terms of tv shows. The Wings, Frasiers, and Cheers of the world are so hard to duplicate. Scrubs, The Office, Earl, Family Guy, Simpsons, Ugly Betty, any HBO comedy, How I Met Your Mother...you name it, I don't like it. Now Two and a Half Men, that's another story. But I like raunchy stuff like that.

Never been into dramas, just don't have the patience for the pace of a drama.

I don't have the patience for dramas either. (Used to watch ER religiously though.) I have such a short attention... Now what was it we were talking about?
