Crazy OK, confession time! What are illegal things you do at times?

Every morning before the bell rings, I take a few minutes to sit at my desk and say a prayer for my students. Yup, I pray in a public school! I also have baked homemake cookies or cupcakes for my kids at times too. I have also given hugs when a child has a bruised knee or heart. I let the kids play games like Tag and Cops and Robbers at recess. And, at Christmastime, the teacher I work with and I let the kids decorate the classroom.

I am SO bad! <laughs evilly>

I love that song, by the way. Kristen, good for you, sweetie!!! We all know our schools can use all the prayers they can get.

As for me, even though I'm not as bad about this as I used to be, sometimes I speed without even realizing it. I would also surf the net as I worked even though we're not allowed. I DID get caught (), but haven't done it since.

Ya' know, sometimes I'll say Hail Mary 12 times, maybe once more after that if I feel up to it.

Seriously, his profile has him born on october 27, 1915, which makes him 92 years old. I like my chances in a foot chase with him.

I do all of those things with/for my first graders too (except the tag and cops/robbers. There was an injury a few years ago, and now it is such a big deal that I would not be brave enough. The parents filed a lawsuit against the teacher on duty for a lot of money. The child had a broken arm and it was paid for by insurance, but they claimed she was emotionally damaged by the situation. The teacher did not have to pay, but still I'm scared of a lawsuit!)

Nothing recent.

Must be mellowing out in my old age.
