Default Are there any deceased celebs you regret not meeting?

I know that the topic sounds a little morbid, but were you disappointed when someone you knew from the media passed on and you did not get the chance to meet them face to face?

For me it would be the following:

Nell Carter(Actress)
Tammy Faye Bakker(Televagelist)
Teresa Graves (Actress)
Wendie Jo Sperber (Actress)
Ruth Warrick (Actress)
Gregory Hines (Actor/Singer/Dancer)
Carroll O' Connor (Actor)
Isabelle Sanford (Actress)
Luther Vandross (Singer)

What about you guys?

Maurice Gibb - a very down-to-earth person, by all accounts of anyone who met him. And very funny too.

Andy Gibb

John Lennon

River Phoenix

There are others.

Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck, John Ritter (although I did meet his wife-she's a very nice lady!) and Stanley Kammel (Dr. Kroger on "Monk").

Bill Bixby. Not that I ever had an opportunity; I wasn't even a fan until after his death, but it would have been nice to at least have the chance to write a fan letter now.

yeah...it's a shame.

I agree about Lucille Ball, she's one of my heros. She died only a couple of weeks after I was born.
