I've been meaning to ask this on here for some time now. I remembered this just now, so I'm making this thread before I forget again.

I've wondered what some of you guys here do for a living... well, now this is your chance.

Right now, I am taking a break from school to just work (couldn't stand being in school any longer... I had been in school for 20 consecutive years. Talk about major burnout!), and liking not being in school so far. I may not have a glamorous job (hint: the bull terrier is their mascot), but it gets my bills paid, the workplace is pleasant and I have great co-workers.

i get paid for going to school. working on a certificate in word processing. it's probably the easiest major my school offers and it's also my last resort because my ADD got in the way of everything else i tried to major in, but that's ok because i plan on doing that kind of stuff as a living.

live-in babysitter for my cousin, her boyfriend and there two daughters who are 2 and 4.

You don't happen to be in tv/movie industry do you? I am between jobs now. For almost a year, I have been doing production assistant work for TV and movies. Just finished up a two months project for the WE cable channel and can't work too much now. since I am recovering from an auto accident I was in while on the job.

i am a full time student for now. i do volunteer work in the courts though and hopefully i'll get an internship in a couple of months.

I'm a Field Business Manager for a construction company. I basically run the admin office. Sometimes I AM the office, other times I have a staff, depending on the size of the job. For the last 4 months I have been traveling to different job sites, but I am heading next week to another long term project near New Orleans where I will have a staff of 5 I think.

This should be fun!

I'm a special education aide. I work with kids who have learning differences, ADD or ADHD, Aspergers, OCD, and various other disabilities.
