Default Tiffani Thiessen Has No Plans To Join '90210'

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress Tiffani Thiessen has no intention of joining her old cast mates on the set of the new spin-off show - insisting she has moved on.

The star played Valerie Malone in the hit teen series alongside Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, who have both signed up to return to their old roles in the new 90210 show. However Thiessen has no plans to make a cameo appearance, despite describing her time on the show as "wonderful".

She says, "I don't think so, I mean I wish them all the luck, but I'm just so in a different place right now. You know, it's not that I don't look back at that show with wonderful, amazing memories, but I've just gone in a different direction for me. But I think it's wonderful."

And Thiessen doesn't believe Garth and Doherty's old rifts will come back to haunt them. She adds, "I think a lot of time has passed, you know. I'm sure they had their talks between them, beforehand. I think it's great for them. They look beautiful and I'm sure it will be great."

Tiffani, be honest...

Did they even ask you to come back?

You're probably right, and that's such a shame. I always thought Tiffani was the best thing about the show.

I actually began watching Beverly Hills 90210 after Tiffani joined it,
because I had been a big fan of hers on Saved by the Bell. Valerie
Malone was so different from Kelly Kapowski, though, that I found myself
liking the other characters on 90120 better. But, looking back now,
I'm glad she had the opportunity to show her range as an actress. I
wouldn't be surprised if they didn't ask her to appear on the remake,
though, simply because she was not a member of the original cast. When
most people hear 90210, they probably think of Dylan, Brandon,
Brenda, Kelly, and maybe Donna and David. Valerie was just not part of
that core of key characters.

After a bit, I think Val definitely was one of the key characters, but I really don't think there's any need for her on this new show. It's awful anyway, and they would just horribly misuse her.

Brenda and Valerie were my favorites, they made names for themselves. I think their characters were a lot more interesting then others (ahem Kelly).

I was a fan of Valerie too- great body.

Wait a second- Valerie was brought in after Brenda left.

I thought Ramona would not like the fact that she came in following Shannen's exit.

I liked her character though, obviously not a replacement of Shannen- but I still liked her.

Val definitely added some much needed drama to the show.

Could you scan it? I didn't know she had a poster while on 90210.

I don't think I still have the actual poster, but this was the picture. I also had her Saved by the Bell: The College Years poster.
