Question Removing last activity from user profile

I noticed many people don't have the last activity field in their user profiles showing the time and date they were last logged into SO. How does one go about removing this? I looked around in profile options but couldn't find exactly where to change this. Thanks to anyone for their help!!!

I've only seen the message on the right hand side of my computer screen that tells me the last time that I was logged in; and that's what I go by.

The last activity message I'm talking about is when you click on a user's name and click on view public profile. I know you can not log in but I'm wondering if there's a way to get rid of it.

There's no way for a member to remove this. We already removed the specific information on the last activity that a member did. I think it's nice for people to know when somebody last logged in. We get a lot of those whatever happened to? type threads. If a member hasn't logged in over a year or since we made this edit, they won't have a last login day and tme.

I'm confused. You say there's no way for a member to remove this but lots of people don't have it on their profiles (yourself included ) How did they do it if according to you this can't be done? If someone really wanted to see when someone last posted they could look under a user's last posts.

I think if you are on invisible , your last activity isn't visible to anybody but you.

You might be onto something. Can anyone click on my username and tell me if the last activity field shows up in my profile? I am in invisible mode. Thanks!

I checked for you and didn't see it on you profile so a guess you are invisible.
