This is my first attempt. So be gentle hehe.

The Division Station

It was quarter til 6 and almost time for all of the inspectors to leave. Each one was in their own little world.

Jinny was thinking about her engagement party that night at the club that Theodore's parents were throwing them.
She was thinking to herself the last time she was at the club had been Theodore birthday party. She only hoped that tonight went better than last time they had been there together.
She really loved Theodore and wanted this to work out for them.
Since this was the first time that Theodore's Family and her family would actually be meeting each other.
Jinny sure hoped her brother John behaved himself tonight and didn't spoil this for her.

CD was thinking I hope Jinny has found the right person and not someone like Paul was to me. She didn't want to admit she had made the mistake of staying with him so long when she should have left Paul sooner. But no one understood that what her and Paul once had was beyond words.
She wondered where it all went wrong at. She was remembering their first date. Paul had been the kind and caring person that she had fallen in love with.
Now CD was wondering what happened to that person she met back then. Damn this was so hard when she still loved him. But she knew what she was doing was the right thing. She hoped that Jinny would be happier with her choice she made.

**Theodore's Office**
The D.A.'s office was quiet today. Theodore sitting at his desk in complete silence. He leans back in his chair,and begins to think about Jinny. She had actually agreed to marry him. Not only that. Tonight was their night. The Engagement Party. He was still stunned. Everything was just happening so fast. Falling into place perfectly. Not enough time to let it sink in. "They'll be plenty of time." Theodore thought to himself as he sat in his office. He snapped back to reality and looked at his watch. "Quarter to 6" he said quietly as he began gathering his stuff into his brief case. He picked up his cell phone and began to dial a number. "Hey Jin. So uh tonights the night. I'll pick you up at 7:15."

**Angela at the Station**
"Hey Daniel." Angela says as she picks up her telephone that is to the right of her on her desk at work. "Uh-huh. Yes. We have to be there at 8:30." she stops for a moment to let her husband finish. "Yeah,It's okay Danny. I understand. See you later tonight then?" Angela asks. "Right. Okay. Yes I'll be careful." she hangs the phone up and sighs slightly.
C.D. glances up to Angela. Breaking her thought. "What was that all about?" "Oh." Angela says as she looks at C.D. "Danny,He has to stay late at the clinic. Saving lives is an important job." Angela smiles.

Sitting in her car alone in the parking lot of the San Francisco Police Department. Talking on the phone to her one and only. She grins when Theodore asks a question. "You know there is plenty of places. You could come to my place. Alittle early,and we could-" she jokes. "Uh-huh. Yeah,Excuses. Excuses." Jinny laughs. "Right, We'll see." she says as she moves her hair out of her face exposing a smirk. "Ok. Bye. I love you too." she hangs up the phone and starts her car.

**Captain's Office**
The door to Captain's office was closed. Leaving her alone in her office looking through some case folders. From inside of her purse she hear a beep begin. Kate leans over and picks her purse up from the shelf behind her. Sets it on her desk and takes out her Day Planner that is going off. She looks at it. "Oh yes. I almost forgot. Jinny and Theodore's engagement party tonight." She thought to herself. Kate looks up to the clock on her wall in front of her desk.

Magda at Station

Magda was waiting for Gabriel to pick up the phone. Magda thought what is taking him so long. She was wondering if Gabriel was still going to go with her to Jinny & Theodore's engagement party. Magda was so engrossed in thought she almost didin't hear Gabriel.
"Hello... Hello is anyone there?" Gabriel says.
Magda snaps out of her thougts. "Gabriel I was just wondering if you were going to be ready to go to the enagagement party for Jinny?"
"I am getting ready to leave to help get Ben reaady so I should be there soon"
"Thanks Gabriel, that is great. See ya when I get home." Magda replies.

Jinny's Apartment

Jinny unlocks the door and theows her bag in the chair then heads for the kitchen to get some water out of the fridge. Sh epulls the bottled water out of fridge and opens it on her way back to her room to get ready. She still hasn't made her mind up if she should wear the new dress she bought for the occassion.
Jinny had to laugh at the last time she got a dress to go to the club with Theodore's parents. Teddy had asked what the dress looked like and she had said Low cut skin tight animal print, ruffle at the bottom.

Captain Office

Kate put down the file she had been reading and decided she had better go home to change otherwise she would be late for the enagagement party. And that would just not do after all the times she had gotten on Jinny's case for being late. She couldn't have one of her Inspectors holdong that over her head. No that just wouldn't do she had to get a move on.

((Also. Yes I know In Jeanie's first post it said Theodore's parent's were throwing the party for them. And this one it says they planned it themselves. Let's just say Theodore's parents made the reservations for them once they planned it. lol.))

**Angela's House**
Angela walks up to her front door holding her bag with her papers and stuff from work in it. She reaches for the door knob,but before she does the door opens. There stands Daniel in the door way, "Hey Angie." he says and leans down and kisses her gently. "Hey Daniel." Angela says surprised. "I thought you had to stay late tonight?" she says as she walks into the house and puts her bag down beside the door. Daniel helps her take her coat off. "Well I did at first. Then the doctor that called in earlier today. Arrived at his original time. So..Here I am." He reply's hanging up Angela's coat on the hook
near the door.

**Theodore's House**
Theodore walks into his apartment. Still thinking about what Jinny had said on the telephone. He puts his breifcase down on his table in the corner of his tiny kitchen. Theodore walked to the back of his apartment where his bedroom is located. Lost in thought. Thinking about the evening that Jinny and himself had planned weeks before hand. It was like Pulling Jinny's tooth to get her to even consider another formal occasion. Involving his parents,and hers for that matter. Jinny hadn't talked to his parents since the last incident in the exact place they were going tonight.
"I wonder if Jinny's having second thoughts." Theodore asks himself. "I should be there for her." Theodore walks to his closet and opens the door. He grabs a duffle bag from the top of his closet and throws it over to his bed. He turns back to his closet and picks some clothes out for the night. Takes them off the hangers and walks over to his bed. Lyes them down,folds them,and puts them into his bag. Zips it up and walks out of the room carrying the bag.

**Magda's Apartment**
Magda sits on the couch. She takes her shoes off and sets them beside her on the ground. Ben emerges from the hall. "Hey Mom. Dad here yet?" he asks. "No,Benjamin. Does it look like your father is here yet?" she leans back on the couch. Ben shakes his head. "Come here." Magda responds patting the couch beside her. Ben smiles and jumps onto the couch and sits by his mom. "How was your day?" she asks. Ben puts out his bottom lip slightly and tilts his head. "What's that supposed to mean?" She laughs. "It was okay." Ben responds. "Just okay?" Mag asks looking directly at her son. Ben nods,"Yeah." Magda sits up alittle ,"You want to talk about it?" she says getting alittle worried. "No." he says. "Come on Ben. You know you can tell me anything. We've talked about this. If somethings bothering you. You can always tell me." she reply's. "I failed my math test." he says quickly as he stands up. Magda gives a sigh of relief. Knowing it was something so minor,and didn't involve Gabriel. "Well Benjamin, Didn't you study for that test last night. At your dads?" She asks. Ben looks from his mother to the floor. "Benjamin." she warns. "No. I forgot." he responds. There is a knock at the door. Magda exhales and gets up. Heading toward the door.

**Jinny's Apartment**
After 20 minutes of looking through clothes for the occasion she looks over to the dress hanging on the mirror where she had put it two nights before. "That'll do." she says to herself giving the dress a look. Should I go through with this? It's only a lowsy party. It's not like it's our wedding for god's sake. She thinks to herself. It's probably the only decent thing to do. So Theodore's parents,friends,and family won't be completely surprised about who my family is at the wedding. I don't want anything to interfur with the wedding. I want this to work out. After all we've been through. Good times and bad. Mostly bad. She thought.
The doorbell rings bringing her back to reality. Jinny begins to make her way through the hall toward the door. She opens it. "May I borrow some sugar?" Theodore asks managing to keep a straight face. Jinny flashes him a look and laughs. "Get in here." she says as she grabs his arm and moves him into her apartment. All the while with a smile on her face. Theodore closes the door with his free hand as he gets into the apartment. "So uh" Theodore looks around her apartment. "You miss me?" he asks. Jinny smiles,"What do you think?" she asks him. "Oh. Then I'll be going." he says as he begins to turn around. "OfCourse I did." Jinny says with a small laugh. Theodore turns back toward Jinny and reply's "Oh you did,huh?" Jinny shakes her head,"Don't push it,Theodore." she laughs. Theodore laughs looks down then to Jinny. "No. Actually,I missed you. A lot." looks at his bag. "Hope you don't mind me showering here." he says lifting his duffle bag slightly. Jinny looks at the bag and then to him. "Oh. Then maybe you should go." she reply's jokingly. "Come back later." she adds with a laugh. "No Teddy.I don't mind a bit." Jin reply's. "Thanks Jinny. How gracious of you." he reply's with a laugh as he takes a step toward Jinny. Jinny smiles,leans up,Puts her hand to his cheek,and kisses him softly. "Very Gracious." he adds softly. His eyes closed. When she takes a breath. She moves closer and kisses him more passionately this time. He moves his hands to her sides as she moves her hand that was on his cheek to the back of his neck.

You are far to kind. I think my writing leaves a lot to be desired. But here goes anyway.

CD’s Apartment

CD walked into the dark lonely apartment. But it felt good not to have to stress out about whether Paul was cheating on her. She flipped on the light switch and headed for the bedroom. She was really not up to this party tonight but Jinny was a friend. CD opened her closet and started rummaging through trying to find something nice to wear.
She had been looking for something nice to wear when she came across something she hadn’t seen in a while. The tears stung her eyes briefly and she chided herself for letting it get to her. CD removed the bag that contained her wedding dress that she wore when her and Paul had gotten married. Her mind raced back to the happy day.

Flashback
June 10, 1991
The day had been perfect and Paul had never looked more handsome as he stood at the altar waiting for his lovely bride to walk down the aisle. The music played the Wedding March as the main church doors opened revealing CD and Dick who gave her away since she had no father figure or anyone else that she trusted enough to do that. Paul had thought he was seeing things. CD had never looked more beautiful on that day. CD and Dick slowly began the walk down the aisle.

The phone that had been ringing off the hook had brought CD back to reality. CD decided she had better answer it. “Hello” CD said as she picked up the phone.
“CD it is Kate I was wondering if you wanted a lift to Jinny’s engagement party?”
“I don’t know if I want to stay that long at the party” was CD’s reply. Kate thought for a minute that this must be hard for CD Jinny is starting a new life and CD is ending her old one with Paul. Kate said “That is what I was counting on and of we ride together we can both get out of there at a early hour… So what do you say?”. CD thought for a moment I guess Kate has a point. CD finally said “Okay.. Are you driving or am I?”


Jinny's Apartment

The kiss had intensified in a matter of seconds. Jinny's hands went for Theodore's tie as Teddy went for the tie on her robe. Theodore slowly started moving towards the hallway never breaking the kiss. Jinny's hands went for the buttons on Theodore's shirt. Theodore finally gets the robe undone and slowly slides it down Jinny's shoulder only to reveal her slip she had on. Jinny had removed Theodore' sshirt at the same time.

Angela's house

"Angie where is my jacket for this suit, I can't find it?"
"Daniel I thought you were going to wear the other suit so I took that one to the cleaners this morning. Sorry honey."
"Well I guess I will just have to find something else to wear, It is okay Ang."

Madga's Apartment

Magda opens the door to see Gabriel standing there all dressed up. Her mind flashbacked to their first date when Gabriel had come to her parents house and picked her up for their first date. Mag had thought he was very good looking then but now he had a age of wisdom about him that Mag seemed to like.

**Captain's House**
Kate exstends her arm out with the tv controler in her hand and changes the channel on the television. As she lyes on her bed. She looks through the channels. From the living room she hears the front door close. "Hey Mom. You here?" Amanda calls from in the living room. "Yeah in here Sweetie." Kate reply's to her daughter as she switches off the tv,puts the remote on her night stand,and gets up. "Hey." Amanda says walking into the room and leans against the door frame. "Hey Honey." Kate says with a smile as she looks at her daughter. "Don't you have somewhere you had to be tonight?" her daughter asks. "Yeah." Kate stands and looks at her watch. "In a matter of fact. I'm going to Jinny's Engagement Party Tonight." she says walking to her closet. "Oh. You have any idea what time you'll be home?" Amanda asks sitting down on her mom's bed looking in her direction. Kate turns around from inside her closet and looks at her daughter, "Early." she says with a slight laugh as she turns back around and grabs an outfit from her closet,and walks back over to the bed and lyes it down. "Why,Amanda? You need to talk?" She asks looking to Amanda then turning around,opening up her top dresser drawer and grabbing a pair of dark nylons. "Yeah I need a good mother daughter talk. I need your opinion on something." she says to her mom as she fiddles with the sleave of her shirt. "Ooh?" Kate says as she sits on her bed next to Amanda and begins putting on her nylons.

**Jinny's Apartment**
Both begin to make their way down the hall. Kissing intensely. Once into the hall. In front of the window. Jinny reaches out and pulls the thin white curtain across the window. Then moves her hand to where it's resting on Theodore's cheek. Jinny's other hand moves from Theodore's cheek to his bare chest. Both still kissing. Jinny moves to her left and reaches down to the door knob on the bathroom door. Theodore doesn't question Jinny's action,but steps forward and moves his hands to her waist and rests them softly on her hips. They take another step into the bathroom. Their bodies close to one another. Once they're fulling into the bathroom the door closes...The shower is turned on.

**Magda's Apartment**
Magda stood in the doorway in front of Gabriel thinking for several moments. "May I come in?" Gabriel asks with a smile looking down at Magda. Still not a word from Magda. Finally,Ben comes from behind her and taps her on the shoulder,"What?" she looks at Gabriel then to Ben,"What?" she asks again looking back toward Gabriel. "May I come in?" he asks again. "Oh yeah,Sure." she reply's as she moves out of the way and opens the door more. "Thanks." Gabriel says. "Hey Dad." Ben says as his Dad walks in. Magda watching Ben and Gabriel together for a moment. She saw how much Ben was starting to love Gabriel,depend on him. She didn't want Gabriel to do what he had done to her 8 years before happen to Benjamin aswell. Magda then closes the door slowly and looks at Ben,"You better get ready,Bubby." she looks at her watch. "We have to get to Jinny's party pretty soon. "Okay Mom." Ben says looking at his mom. "Come on,Dad. Help me pick out something." he says Grabbing Gabriel's hand and leading him down the hall. Before Gabriel disappears around the corner he flashs Magda a smile. She smiles back and then looks down at the ground and sighs. Then begins to walk toward her bedroom to get ready.

Y'all think that's X rated? Go to Anne3.com. Kenzie made me read one of the stories there, and it made me cry!!! I don't know how it made my cry, don't ask my why the old lady swallowed the fly! Huh? Where did that come from... Oh well (I said oh, not all, hehee!) It's not gross, it just put the whole scene in a story. Pretty good, actually. K, will you tell these nice folks what that story is called? BTW, what are nylons? Are they panty hose? We just call em hose here... :P Nylons! I've never heard anyone call them that, they might have said nylon panty hose, but never just nylons. Now, you may be wondering what I think of the story, I mean, since I'm on here typing and all, shouldn't I have a point? Well, mind you, I do. THE STORY IS GREAT!!!!! Oh, yeah, add another exclamation mark on there, it deserves it... !. There, that should cover it! :P
