Bowling has long been used as a backdrop for various television shows (particularly sitcoms). What I'm trying to do is compile a list of fictitious characters who have rolled 300s as part of a television show.
Here are the four I remember: >> Howard Sprague on ``The Andy Griffith Show'' (The lights went out before his final shot, and he had to finish the next day.) >> Fred Flintstone on ``The Flintstones'' (Barney was invisible and helped Fred beat Joe Blowhard.) >> Peg Bundy on ``Married With Children'' (Peg upstaged Al's attempt to set the house record.) >> Homer Simpson on ``The Simpsons.'' (Homer was supposed to be home to play with Maggie, but he went bowling with Lenny and Carl). Can anyone think of any others? Any help would be appreciated. |
