I think his chances would've been better than those of Enos Strate.

But I do have to admit that you're right, Charles. How about a spinoff with Lenaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay (oh, that was Good Times)?

As much as I loved Rollo, I don't think he could carry his own show. He would have to have a strong co-star in my opinion.

If Grady had a show that lasted 13 eps, I'm sure Rollo could have had his own show that lasted a season or two.
He could have had a nice bachelor pad, some new buddies and some lady friends. |

Rollo could have carried a show on his own more than Esther could have. But I think Bubba could have carried one over all of them. Again, this is no knock on Rollo's character. Nathaniel Taylor is a very good actor who probably didn't get utilized to a full extent. But he would have needed a very good back up cast to help him with a show.

As much as I love Rita Larson's boy, Rollo, I don't think a show of his own would have lasted. I mean, given his jaded character, what would the subject matter have been? And without constant reference to characters and situations from Sanford and Son, the show would have been doomed.
(This is just my opinion.) |

I think so. I think all Rollo needed was some character development.
