Default I understand Louise and Edith was friends but this still was a strange moment-LOL

In the ep-"Jeffersons Move Up"-right before the Jeffersons head out this is the strange moment

Edith: "Louise Have I ever told you that I love you?

Louise: "Everyday we spent together"

HUH??????????-LOL I would think this would be better

Edith: "Louise I'm going to miss you very much now that you are moving to Manhattan"

Louise: "i feel the same Edith, I'm going to miss you too"

Oh C'mon Sol, they were really close friends. They loved each other, what was so wrong with that?

There should have been a FLIP FLOP scene in the living room of the Bunkers House

George: Archie I have I ever told you I hate you?

Archie: Every time you time you saw me Jefferson

Then after that they both go there seperate ways-lol

I don't see anything weird about it. it was just one of those nice, sweet moments in television history.

Now of Goerge said that to Archie, I could see something strange about that

No, I thought what they said really fit. They were very close, truly liked and respected each other. Two terrific ladies IMHO. But oy, what yutzes they married esp. Archie (George at least was kinda savvy)

Why is that strange? It's no different than a woman telling her sister that she loves her. Friends do that all the time. I've told my friends that I love them. Now, if we're talking "romantic", then no. Of course not, but I just don't find it strange.
