Default My 90210 fear is.....

That they will muck up the memories I have from the old show in the new show.

They are already doing it with one character - Jackie Taylor. Now I guess she is a drunk again after years of being a reformed alcoholic and dedicated parent. All so they can have Kelly taking care of Erin?

There are things that should be left alone. Donna and David should be married. Nate should always own the Peach Pit. Steve should always be a putz. Brenda should have a bitchy side.

I just don't want them rewriting history.

I am not worried. I think it's good that they are keeping some links to the original show, even the theme song. I just don't think Jennie Garth or Shannen Doherty would sign onto something that might even slightly tarnish people's view of the original series. The previews have put any worries to rest for me.

I'm so excited to "figure" it all out, the characters and the story line. I am with you on that they shouldn't mess with the storyline. I loved the show from the past so much and I'm so happy they have decided to do the remake.

I think that they are doing a good job so far. We will wait and see what happens.

As long as they don't make Brenda a really big bitch or anything. Just the same Brenda as before, even though most people thought she was a bitch back then.

I liked that side of Brenda back then. She was nice but then she was really a "B". I loved the zingers the writers gave Shannen D. to say to people like Kelly and Steve. I am so glad that Shannen came back as a thank you to her fans...even if it is for four episodes.

That's what I'm sayin! If that would have happen to me I would have been a MEGA bitch. Brenda handled it very well.
