Did You Notice This?

In the later seasons I have noticed that there is a change in production style. The color seems to be softer, with a "pastel" look. Also, Caroline's voice seems higher pitched and child-like. I really notice a difference in Charles' voice. It is a lot higher.

I was reminded of it again yesterday when I saw Season 8's "A Promise to Keep."

Does anyone else notice this? I know I'm not imagining it!

Yeah, the earlier years look grittier and the picture is grainier. Good call!

When I get to this season I'll keep my ears and eyes out. Right now I'm going through Season 2 but skipping around a tiny bit for special eps (like Bunny). Your sense for detail is just amazing! Maybe I'll pop in a Season 8 for the heck of it. Any suggestions for a particularly good ep (what am I saying...they're all good! )
