A little confused about the Orginal Beverly Hills 90210

Hi all hope all are well i have a question for eveyone i recently got all 5 seasons Beverly hills 90210 for my b-day now on the back of the boxes it indacates that some music has been changed for the dvd version and it also indactes on the back of the box that some epesodies may be edited form the Orginal network Versions now i underdatned about the music part being changed but what does it mean when thay say that some epesodie may be edited form thire Orginal network versions Does it mean all the epsodie are cut or only some cut if someone can make this more clear to me appticte verey mutch

Wow, that's weird! When I think of something being edited, I think of TV shows in syndication, where they are made shorter/edited for commercials. In all honesty, I think it's stupid that they do that because you would think that when it was originally made they would have made enough allowances for the commercial breaks.

Most DVD sets feature additional minutes of original TV shows, and not chopped up versions. I have seen probably every episode of Full House at least ten times (the earlier seasons even more), and when I watch my DVD sets, occasionally I will find scenes that I hadn't noticed before.

So hopefully the "edited" comments on your DVD sets mean that they are extended versions!

As far as I know and can tell, all of the episodes are intact, except for a lot of the music. Because the music has been changed specifically for the DVD sets, they are no longer the original FOX airings is what that statement on the back of the box set means. Hope that helps.

How infuriating is the music rights BS, apparently whole seasons of Married with Children don't even have the theme song - incredible.

I've watched season 3 and 4 on DVD now (only started watching the series back in the day from season 5) and there wasn't anything I noticed - though again I never saw it originally.
