CBS has ordered 9 more episodes of Bette which will run through December 20th. And CBS has also guaranteed Bette through May and if ratings stay up they will sign a contract for 4 more seasons of Bette beginning Sept.19, 2001.

I finally saw an episode of this show a few days ago. I was impressed. This is the best new sitcom that I have seen in many years. There will be no problem with this show maintaining its ratings. It shines like a diamond in the mud.
